You will master methods to customise any short style to suit individual head shapes, facial features, and diverse hair types for clients across the gender spectrum, learning to dissect, rebuild, and innovate truly unique, personalised short cuts.

  • Applying advanced texturizing methods to enhance movement, reduce bulk, and create desired finishes on short hair.
  • Consulting with any client to understand their vision and translate it into a perfectly customised, wearable short haircut.

What do I bring?

To maximise your learning experience and ensure comfort during hands-on practice in "The Short Cut" course, please bring your own model and the following essential tools:

  • Scissors: Your preferred pair of professional cutting scissors (and a spare if you have one).
  • Texturising Scissors: Thinning/texturizing shears.
  • Combs: Various cutting combs (including fine-tooth and wide-tooth).
  • Clippers & Trimmers: Professional clippers with guards, and detail trimmers.
  • Spray Bottle: For wetting hair.
  • Sectioning Clips: A good supply of professional sectioning clips.
  • Blow Dryer & Brushes: Your preferred blow dryer and styling brushes (e.g., vent brush, paddle brush).
  • Mannequin Head (only if you don’t have a Model): A Model is recommended for this course.
  • Enthusiasm & a readiness to learn! All necessary products and additional teaching materials will be provided during the course.

Luke is a cutting specialist with a passion for precision and education. He doesn’t just teach haircuts; he teaches a method. His approach helps you create bespoke styles for every client, taking into account suitability, hair type, and personal style.

Delivery & Return

Delivery

£6.95 standard UK delivery charge. We aim to dispatch orders same day if ordered before 2pm and stock availability.

Next day delivery service

Orders placed online before 2:00pm will be eligible for next day delivery through DPD, this applies to orders placed Monday to Thursday on working days only.

Orders placed before 2:00pm on Friday will be processed and dispatched and normally be delivered the next woring day which is the following Monday. This service is subject to stock availability and does not apply to orders including furniture, equipment or special-order items.

Where the next working day is a bank holiday, goods will be out for delivery on the following working day.

Please note once orders have been fulfilled and dispatched through our warehouse, we cannot guarantee next-day delivery - this is down to DPD's discretion. Seasonal trends such as Black Friday and Christmas may delay your parcel. DPD will delivery your parcel as promptly as possible. 

Furniture and equipment orders are normally delivered within 2 - 4 weeks although some items may take 6 - 8 weeks or longer.

Please note: All large furniture items are kerbside delivery only. You will be advised of the estimated delivery date shortly after your order is placed.

Delivery times are quoted in good faith at checkout and we cannot accept liability for any expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or late deliveries.

Delivery of overseas orders may be affected due to political conflicts, such as war, civil unrest, martial law etc.

Delivery times may vary from standard business hours. Sorry, we cannot deliver to BFPO addresses.

Free delivery offer

Applies to orders placed online totalling £85 or more before VAT for delivery to UK mainland (excluding Rural Scotland). Training courses and delivery charges do not count towards the free delivery threshold.

Orders over this amount that include furniture or equipment will be subject to a surcharge. This will be advised depending on the item in question.
